Één tip?
Boek 'n vakantie naar Sint Maarten en loop daar eens bij 'n camerastore naar binnen. 'n Overgroot deel van je vliegticket zo terugverdiend.

Het laatste wat ik mij kan herinneren, zijn de DL-compactcamera's in februari van dit jaar. Dat bedoelde ik met de lange tijd.

De aardbeving in april in Japan heeft niet alleen levens gekost maar is logischerwijs ook van invloed geweest op de aankondiging en uitlevering van nieuwe producten.

Sinds de release van de 85/1.4G gebruik ik hem voor 70% van de foto's, nog steeds met extreem veel genoegen. Enige wat in mijn ogen beter kan zijn de chromatische aberraties en in minder mate van belangrijkheid de AF-snelheid. Als ik de samples van de 105/1.4E bekijk, zie ik geen chromatische aberraties daar waar de 85mm die zeker wel zou hebben op f/1.4. Daarnaast, kijkend naar de MTF-charts zou de 105mm nóg scherper zijn.
Dus ja, ik ben verliefd. "Gelukkig" zal de meerwaarde in eindresultaat ten opzichte van de 85mm miniem zijn, dus ik probeer mijn ratio te laten spreken en niet te veel over dit prachtige objectief nadenken.

Vincent Versace is door Nikon uitgenodigd om enkele foto's te mogen maken met deze lens.

This is one of the images from the 105mm f1.4 lens shoot. The camera was the fabulous Nikon D5. When I walked to shoot the lens I was told I could only have it for 16 days. On my travel schedule during that time fram that meant 11 actual days of being able to shoot. Five of those days were travel ays to get from here to there and back. What I chose to do for my part of the shoot was, no artificial light, no make-up on the subjects, lo reflectors or diffusers. Just the lens. Just the camera. Suffice it to say I was the weakest link in the entire project.
There is no image I cannot capture. There is no image in which my vision of the image and the beauty of moment that took me that is not enhanced by the beauty of the glass and lens design of the 105mm f1.4.
I have always held that the lens is the brush, the camera sensor is the canvas. I have also held the that the beauty of a lens is not in how well it handles focus but rather how well it handles from in focus to blur. I am by proclivity a zoom guy. For me to say what I am about to say means that one of this brushes will be staying home.This lens has a permeant place in my camera bag.
This has to be the sharpest lens I have ever used. It is also has the most beautiful Bokeh of any lens I have ever shot with as well.
So you want to know why I choose Nikon? Now you know.

Misschien komen er door inruil nu wat 1,8/105mm AIS-objectieven op de tweedehands markt.
Je ziet ze zelden, maar ook dat oudje blijft een prachtig en begerenswaardig objectief.

Ik kreeg gisteren een mail van kamera expres met de laatste aanbiedingen.
Daar stond pre order EUR 500,- aanbetalen en EUR 1199,- betalen bij levering?
Zal dit kloppen, was mijzelf aan het oriënteren op een DC lens maar dis scheelt alweer.

Heb ze gebeld en schijnt te kloppen.
In hun voorwaarden staat wel dat ze de prijs achteraf nog kunnen aanpassen maar dan mag je de order altijd annuleren. Apart scheelt EUR 800,-

Overduidelijk staat er een fout in de folder. EDIT: Ger, werkelijk?
Wat een boel type- en spelfouten trouwens in het stukje Versace hierboven...

De NL adviesprijs is slechts € 2459,- ; scheelt toch weer een goede fles whisky.
