Die RRS kost me 2,5 keer zoveel.
Manfrotto has developed another outstanding piece of photography equipment with the 468MG Hydrostatic Ball Head. If you’re a professional of any stripe or a wildlife, sports or action photography enthusiast, then the 468MG deserves your serious consideration, even if you haven’t been a fan of ball heads. This one has too many superior features to be overlooked, from ultra-rugged construction to extreme weight support specs to the incredibly smooth and accurate operation with the hydraulic friction control. Of course, you must pay for all of these excellent capabilities, as the 468MG is $200 plus, depending where you buy it. It’s a worthwhile investment, however, if your photography pursuits will benefit from adding the Manfrotto 468MG Hydrostatic Ball Head to your gear. (bron)
Verdict
The new Manfrotto 468MG ball head is a superb piece of kit for anyone using a larger DSLR or medium-format camera for wildlife, sports or action photography. Its impressive load capacity, rugged build quality and the ease of use of its unique hydraulic friction control give it immense versatility and will win over even those who wouldn't normally consider a ball head.

The Manfotto 055 and 468MG RC4 combination has had cameras from a basic Canon EOS300D and standard lens through to a Sigma SD10 with a 500mm prime mounted on it and has performed admirably in every case. The heads vary in their maximum load capacity, going from 10-16kg but the limiting factor is the capacity of the tripod, in this case 6kg with the legs fully extended. Virtually all 35mm and digital outfits come inside this capacity, although with longer lensed medium format systems, a slightly stronger tripod may be needed. The head however, will manage both without complaint. With one of these in your kit, you can be assured that camera shake will be a thing of the past! (bron)
