Er wordt veel geschreven over boeken maar er zijn ook goede DVD's op de markt beschikbaar. Misschien een goed idee om hier een lijst te starten met DVD's die de moeite waard zijn om te bekijken.

Dit is inderdaad het meest eenvoudigst en kan iedereen. Maar zijn ze ook de moeite waard om te bekijken? Daar gaat het hier mijn inziens om.

Het beoordelen van boeken en of dvd's is een moeilijke zaak. En het is er niet gemakkelijker op geworden. In de tijd van alleen boeken, zag ik veel boeken en had er zelf ook wel een paar. En dan valt het op dat dezelfde boeken in de USA andere auteursnamen hebben dan hier in Europa. Dat heet dan marketing. Braczcko is zo'n naam die het in de USA niet goed doet, want niemand kent hem.
Dan heb je personen die een boek over een nieuwe camera al in de winkel hebben liggen, voordat de camera al zelf leverbaar is. Dat doe je met zoeken en vervangen. Soms zijn zelfs de plaatjes niet aangepast.

Oorspronkelijk werk heeft voor mij de voorkeur boven knippen en plakken. Veel camera boeken hebben hoofdstukken over portret, natuur, landschap, onderwater, bruidjes, kinderen, sport fotografie. Die hoofdstukken zijn voor elk boek van die auteur hetzelfde en zijns soms meer dan 70% van de inhoud. En gaan dus niet over de genoemde camera.

In de tijd van boeken en geen internet, kon je in de boekenwinkel meerdere boeken over een camera naast elkaar leggen en dan rustig bekijken welk boek het meest bij jouw behoefte aansloot. Voor mij werkt een boek het best als er af en toe duidelijke plaatjes in staan en er uitgelegd wordt waarom je een bepaalde instelling moet gebruiken. Wat zijn de nadelen van alternatieven. Dat zal voor andere personen anders zijn. Dus op die manier is nooit te zeggen wat nu een goed boek is.

Ik kwam in boekenwinkels met ruime zetels en een koffiehoek waar je zo een halve dag kwijt kon.
Nu is dat niet meer, want het moet goedkoop. Dus via het www. En dan kun je niet meer zelf vergelijken. Veel auteurs waar ik een hoge pet van op had, mogen niet meer schrijven van hun uitgever. Te duur.

Tegenwoordig wordt veel advies gevraagd op dit forum. De goede boek- of de fotowinkel is er niet meer. Een goed advies sluit aan bij wat jij als persoon belangrijk vindt. En dat lukt hier zelden.

M'n laatste Nikon boek is al weer uit 2008 en zojuist beschreven in het actuele clubblad. Geweldig wat een passie.

het beoordelen van lees en beeld materiaal is een persoonlijke keuze. Wat de een goed vind is voor de ander van mindere kwaliteit.
Een opsomming van alle DVD's was ook niet de bedoeling geweest om de bomen toch nog zichtbaar te houden.

Maar net als in de boeken wereld is er ook op beeldmateriaal goede series die iedereen goed vind. Het leek mij een goed idee om die te vermelden buiten het lijstje wat hans nu in deze topic heeft geplaatst.

Hallo allemaal ik zie een grote lijst van dvd's staan en dat die makkelijk te vinden zijn alleen lukt het mij niet om een nederlandse webstores of gewoon een winkel waar ik in kan lopen om ze te kopen. Weten jullie soms adressen?

klopt , de nederlandse markt zal er wel wat klein voor zijn.

ik heb zelf voor de D80 de blue crane Digital "through the eyes of a pro" dvd en de Magic Latern guide over de D80
voor de Nikon D200 heb ik de elite video dvd's . als ik moet kiezen dan leer ik het meeste van BCD en MLG en daarna van elite video

als je goed zoekt kan je ze wel als laaglaad vinden uiteraard na betaling .
Sommige webshops uit engeland of america sturen ook wel naar nederland op , let wel op dat je een "betrouwbare partner "zoekt , bij amazon , B&H of een der andere goede websites kan je vaak een eind komen

nadeel voor enkelen deze dvd zijn er alleen in het engels , op MP staat ook een man die volgens mij BCD dvd's verkoopt voor 10,00 per stuk .
