Nikon d5600

Hi there,
I am new and I have a question for you.
I bought a new nikon 5600 and I discovered it had focusing problems. I love macro foto's, so most of the times my pictures are ruined.
Sent the cam back to Nikon Nederland, but they said it should have been OK after a software upgrade. Unfortunately it was NOT.
I had a 3200 for years and I never had these problems. I am in fact still using my old cam right now to avoid the frustration.
Has any of you the same cam? do you have focus problems?
I am very sad that after investing money, i have a camera that does not work.. :'-(

A lot of variables can be causing this so some questions to narrow things down a bit;
Which lens and have you tried the lens that works with the D3200 on the D5600?
Same overall settings? (as far as they are comparable on both cams)
The Auto Focus AF-setting is selected on the D5600? (check by pressing Info-button)
100% comparable set-ups (distance, object etc.) for the ok shots with D3200 and failed ones with the D5600?
Did you try the scene mode close-up?
Are you aware your lens has a minimum focusing distance?

Any problem with a new camera, back to the store where you bought the camera. Exchange for a camera that works well.

Hans, Nikon checked the camera already so your advice is doubtful. Most problems are user errors.
